Glee Weekly: Bring on the New Kid!
Hello fellow Gleeks! The day we have all been waiting for since the Glee Project premiered this summer has finally come: Damian McGinty made his debut on Glee as Rory Flannagan! From singing about being green and the newbie, to being perceived as a leprechaun by Brittany S. Pearce, Rory made his rounds on this week's episode.
When asked about his character Rory, Damian has reportedly commented:
"He's very sweet and very innocent, and it's a little sad because he wants to fit in so badly, he always has a smile on his face, and he's so optimistic, but he is just getting continually bullied. He's getting thrown off lockers, pushed into lockers, and it's just quite sad."
Who seems to be budding a bromance with foreign cutie Rory? That would be Finn! Finn admits to having failed to stand up for Rory when no one else would and decided to do something that would change the New Directions forever: have Rory join! And through that, the teams have been defined!
Who is team Rory? Rachel Berry, who loves his talent, and Finn, who seems to be his new brother from another mother.
Who is anti-Rory? Santana, who doens't like all the attention that Rory is giving to Brittany, and Kurt, who is bothered that he won't be the only soprano of the group anymore.
