Katy Perry Ties With Michael Jackson...and Becomes World's First Pop Queen?
What a summer for this talented brunette blonde pink haired singer! Billboard's Hot 100 has yet to update the top 100, however, they have stated that Perry's "Last Friday Night" beat out LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" in taking the number one spot.
Billboard stated:
"Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" becomes the first album in the almost 19-year history of Billboard's Pop Songs chart to generate five No. 1s, as 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' ascends 2-1."
Do you know what that means?

Katy Perry is the first female artist to have five number one hits off one single album, Teenage Dream, on the Hot 100! The only other artist to do so was pop king Michael Jackson with his album Bad. "Firework," "Teenage Dream," "California Gurls," "E.T," and "Last Friday Night" (video below) were her five singles that climbed and claimed the number one spot on the chart.
She is UNSTOPPABLE! From Smurfing to changing her hair hues to snagging nine VMA nominations, Katy Perry must be having the summer of her life! Congratulations Katy! Or is it Queen Katy now?

Do you think she deserves to tie with Michael Jackson? Should Gaga or other stars be ahead of her on the Top 100? Share your thoughts!
