Sean Kingston Was Near Death After Jet Ski Accident!
Wow, who knew it got that serious! Sean Kingston opened up with MTV about his jet ski accident in Miami that happened back in May. Kingston, with passenger Cassandra Sanchez (pictured below) who left the scene untouched, was going 35 miles per hour when he misjudged the tide and crashed into a bridge. The public got notice of the accident and were told that the Jamaican singer had a broken jaw, fractured wrist, and water in his lungs but that he would be okay.

So why was he in the hospital for so long? Kingston said “They were gonna send me home, but then I had felt a pain in my left chest, and I told my mom. They rushed me and they did a lot of scans on me, [and] they said I couldn’t leave.” Turns out the young star had a torn aorta and blood was filling his chest! “I had open heart surgery and I had two other surgeries; it was a life-or-death situation,” Kingston said.

How is he now? He says he feels 100% and is ready to work on his next album! Close pal Justin Bieber, who teamed up with Sean in the song ""Eenie Meenie," just spent four days in Miami with Kingston. Bieber had nothing but good things to say about Sean, stating "his spirits are a lot higher" and that the pair had a great time relaxing and hanging out in Miami.

Lessons learned? Kingston stated "What the accident basically taught me is, in life, you have to count your blessings. You just got to keep God present at all times and think about the consequences." Hopefully he will the jet skis and focus in the studio for some time!
Glad to see Kingston's okay? Excited for his next album? Share your thoughts!
